The task of pouring concrete for curbs around the buildings and parking areas is nearly complete.

Most of the windows have now been installed in the child care and administration building.

At the family shelter building, all of the drywall has gone up inside.

Grass is starting to grow in the green areas around the new site!

Shrubs and other greenery have gone in around the buildings.

The big news today is we have pavement!

Workers are preparing to pour concrete for the entrance stairs and ramp outside the child care and administration building.

All of the drywall is now installed in the child care and administration building.

All of the HVAC units have been installed in the family shelter building.

Workers have begun installing the siding on the exterior of the family shelter building.

Can you believe it’s January? Exterior siding is nearly complete on the new family shelter building. Grass is starting to grow!

What will one day be the kitchen for our child care center is beginning to take shape. It just needs some flooring, cabinets, appliances, etc.

That’s more like it! Vinyl plank flooring has been installed and cabinets are going up in the child care center.

Along with all the progress being made inside, exterior siding is going up on the child care and administration building.

Future outdoor classroom and playground adjacent to our child care building.

Complete siding, windows, and doors in place on the main entrance to the child care and administration building (the side facing Morton Street). Our new sign will be added soon!

A crew of volunteers came in on this Saturday to build all of the fences that enclose our outdoor play/learning areas at the new child care and administration building.

Our hardworking team of fence-building volunteers who helped install all of the playground fences at our new facility.

Installation of the kitchens is underway in our family suites. This space will soon be filled with dual stove/oven ranges for 2 families.

Fresh sod has gone in at the outdoor play/learning spaces for our early childhood and pre-K classrooms.

The lights are on inside our new child care and administration building. We’re almost ready to move into our new facility.

It’s a peaceful night outside our new family shelter building. Work continues inside to make the space move-in ready.
