Now Hiring: Co-Lead Teacher
The Nest at New Hope is now hiring a full-time Co-Lead Teacher in a Mixed-Age Early Childhood Classroom for a mixed-income cohort of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Salary: $31,000.00 – $34,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7:20am–5:40pm Monday through Friday
Requirements: Teacher candidates must be passionate about providing high quality care and education to young children from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Education: Associate (preferred)
Experience: 1 year (preferred)
Successful candidates will possess a BA or AA in early childhood education or related field, though a candidate with substantial experience could be successful with a CDA credential. The ideal candidate will also have training and experience in a classroom setting and with young children who have experienced trauma or other early development risk factors.
Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including a criminal background check, drug screening, annual CPR/First Aid certification, TB screening, and physical, as well as be able to bend and lift up to 50lbs.
